Required Documents in University of Toronto

The student will be required to apply for a travel visa to live in Canada and complete the admission process upon obtaining the acceptance letter from the school. It is required that applicants send all the papers in time to receive their acceptance offer and pay their tuition fees to register with the Canadian Embassy for a research visa.

The documents required for study permit include

  • A valid passport
  • English language proficiency- TOEFL/ IELTS
  • Proof of Finance to prove availability of finances to cover the tuition and academic expenses for a study in Canada.
  • Letter of Explanation
  • Submission of biometrics and application is necessary for a successful approval of Study Permit.

There are some countries where their International students might also require a Temporary Resident Visa(TRV) or an Electronic Travel Authorization(eTA). If you require some extra help or some more clarifications which your counselor isn’t able to provide, then you can also contact the Canadian Embassy to enquire about the eligibility and make arrangements to travel to Canada.

Current Ontario High School Students (OUAC 101 Application) Complete the 101 Application Center of Ontario Universities (OUAC) if you:

  • A current full-time high school student in Ontario
  • has not been out of high school for more than seven consecutive months
  • expect to receive an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with six grade 12 U / M courses by the end of this year
  • has not attended a post-secondary institution (college / university)

Registered candidates (International Application of the University of Toronto) Use the International Application of the University of Toronto if you:

  • Currently residing outside Canada, AND
  • are not currently studying and have not trained in Canada, AND
  • do not belong to any other school in Ontario.

In contrast to the University of Toronto, potential foreign students seeking to transfer to other Ontario institutions should use the OUAC 105 application).

If you have already submitted an application with the OUAC 105, you do not need to register with the Foreign Request to the University of Toronto. (If you apply all forms, the Foreign Request of the University of Toronto will be cancelled without reimbursement.)

Note that a non-refundable fee of $180 will have to be paid.

The University of Toronto has contracted to provide application processing services to the Ontario Universities ‘ Application Center (OUAC). You will be moved to the OUAC website when you begin the application process, where you will complete and apply your application. You’ll need to build an OUAC profile (if you don’t have one already). You may only have one profile from OUAC. Direct any questions regarding the application process to the OUAC.
